Crane Rope Resin Button Sockets
Most new crane hoist ropes now come from the manufacturer with a Resin Button Socket fitted on one end of the wire rope.
If a crane rope is damaged or a replacement crane rope is required, traditionally this used to create some logistical issues if the crane owner did not want to buy the replacement rope from the crane OEM. LiftQuip Australia are removing this problem, with the ability to supply brand new ropes fitted with a Resin Button Socket or fit a replacement socket in the field. Our technicians, trained by wire rope manufacturers in the correct techniques for this process, can be mobilised at short notice to get your crane back where it needs to be – lifting heavy loads.
