Global Lifting Awareness Day 2021
Today is Global Lifting Awareness Day. LiftQuip Australia is celebrating this as are others in the industry across the world.
GLAD was first established as a day to celebrate the lifting and working at height industries. This day is to not only celebrate the important contribution that the Lifting, Materials Handling and Height Safety industry make in society, but to also remind end users of how important it is to use high quality suppliers who utilise years of experience and high quality training. This makes for a safer industry
Another key target is to attract younger workers into our industry. This will help to ensure that the industry continues to grow and move forward into the future.
The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association is the respected and authoritative representative body for members involved worldwide in all aspects of lifting operation and equipment. Full members of LEEA have been through a rigorous audit and training process. This ensures that they meet the ongoing high standards required in the industry
