Height Safety Harness Sizing
If you are require either a smaller or larger size with your clothing, you might be wondering where you stand when looking at purchasing a Harness – after all, this is one thing that you do not want to get wrong when working at heights.
All manufacturers will have guides which generally collate the everyday shirt size to the size of the manufacturer’s harness. If using Spanset harnesses as an example, their Harness size range covers a grouping of shirt sizes due to the adjustable nature of their range of Harnesses. For example, a ‘Large’ size Harness from Spanset will suit a shirt size from large through to 3XL, with the biggest Harness in the range being a 3X Large which will suit a shirt size range from 3XL through to 6XL.
All Harnesses will have a load rating on them, with all Spanset Harnesses being rated to 150kg.
