What is LEEA ?

LiftQuip Australia is a full member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).

What is LEEA you might ask?

LEEA is established across the world as the leading trade association for all those involved in the lifting industry.  Their vision is to promote enhanced standards and sustainable development for the worldwide Lifting and Safety industry.  Their mission is to educate, influence and enable so that best practice is normal practice.  Founded in the UK, they have played a key role in setting standards for over 75 years

If you are dealing with a LEEA member, you can do so with confidence.  Members have been audited in accordance with the associations technical audit procedure, in addition to this inspectors must have completed a number of training courses, including an advance program

Accredited companies must then satisfy ongoing audits and employee refresher training to continue to be endorsed

LEEA also produce industry leading publications and information documents including the LEEA Copsule, which is a code of practice (UK) for the safe use of lifting equipment
