Most Popular Lifting Sling

We were asked recently what the most popular Lifting Sling is that we supply.

Synthetic Round Slings, or ‘Softies’ as they are commonly known, are by far the most common Lifting Sling by quantity of slings sold.  Closely followed  behind this are Synthetic Flat Slings, or Webbing Slings.  All Synthetic Slings are generally sold in larger quantities.

Chain Slings are always right at the top, and are still one of the most trusted Lifting Slings when discussing with experienced users.  Whilst most assembled, inspected and tested chain slings are still supplied in Gr80, Gr100 is closing the gap quickly.

Wire Rope Slings are still widely used, but the growing popularity of Flat and Round Slings, as well as other options such as Dyneema Slings has seen the numbers of these decrease in popularity with our customer base.  Speciality Wire Rope Slings such as Flat Woven Slings and Superflex Slings are favourites amongst users.
