INCIDENT REPORTS
LiftQuip Australia can assist with technical support and reporting around incidents. Our technical expertise and experience along with our testing machinery can help to establish the cause of the incident and support the investigation process. We can also offer advice on safe and appropriate solutions going forward.
REVERESE ENGINEERING
LiftQuip Australia can offer a service whereby an existing fabricated lifting asset can be assessed by its design, material dimensions, proposed function etc against the requirements of AS 4991. This can verify the likely compliance of such an asset where the original engineering and design computations are not available. The reverse engineering is often done in conjunction with a strip down and refurbishment and should include an NDT regime.
STRIPPING DOWN, CLEANING AND INSPECTING EQUIPMENT
LiftQuip Australia is able to offer a full refurbishment service where used lifting equipment can stripped down, cleaned, inspected and NDT tested before being repainted, re-tested and put back into service. This refurbishment can add many years of service life to the asset and is more economical than new replacement.
ASSESSING DIMENSIONAL WEAR AGAINST LOADING REQUIREMENTS
The assessment of dimensional wear is critical to the inspection process. Manufacturers and Australian Standards will specify allowable wear tolerances for lifting equipment. The LiftQuip Australia inspection process will assess dimensional wear compared to manufacturer recommendations to check compliance as to whether the asset can remain in service or needs to be removed or repaired.
